In March 2022, David left his previous role as a partner at a Chester-based firm to launch Mann Roberts, which is a dispute resolution firm focusing on legal matters in specific sectors including construction, agriculture and energy.
In his 15 years of practice since qualifying as a solicitor in 2008, David has extensive experience in commercial litigation, contract drafting and disputes, company and partnerships matters, and negligence cases. He also advises in relation to contentious probate matters.
David was ranked in the Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner and is on the prestigious Leading Individuals list for commercial litigation in Liverpool.
David is highly regarded for not only his impressive business and legal knowledge which enables him to provide with clients rounded and commercially focused solutions, but also his dedication to doing all that it takes to deliver value to clients.
David enjoys handling complex cases which require excellent legal knowledge and the ability to come up with creative solutions. He always advises the clients of the importance of avoiding protracted litigation if it is possible because “the only person who is going to win is the solicitor.”
As he says to every client: “It has to be a good deal for you, and it has to be a good deal for us.”
David regularly participates in a wide range of sporting events. Coaching at Hoylake RFC, watching his beloved Everton FC and skiing in the Italian Alps on holiday; being some of his favorite activities. David is also partial to a spot of golf!
David enjoys geo-politics, history and a pale ale in a beer garden on a sunny day. His ambition to learn to sail and take his family sailing around the Mediterranean.
