Paralegal
Amanda joined Mann Roberts in 2022 as a paralegal. She commences her training contract with the firm in September 2023.
In her current role, Amanda assists with a wide range of matters including research, drafting and amending commercial contracts, preparing court bundles for contentious cases, managing data and confidential client information, and supporting the team with additional office tasks.
Her strong organisation skills and attention to detail have been recognised and are highly valued by our team.
Prior to starting her legal career, Amanda worked as a Chinese-English translator specialising in finance and legal translation. She is a native Cantonese speaker and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Amanda studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating with commendation in 2021 with a Graduate Diploma in Law. She went on to complete her LPC and LLM in Professional Legal Practice at The University of Law in 2022, achieving a distinction.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys quiet time reading, listening to music, and meditating. She loves yoga and loves baking her favourite cakes and pastries. Overcoming her fear of water by learning to swim in 2022 is one of Amanda’s proudest achievements.
