In January, our company had the incredible opportunity to join the MOVE Network for an unforgettable skiing trip to Mayrhofen. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Austrian Alps, this trip provided the perfect blend of adventure, networking, and business reflection.
One of the key highlights of this experience was the opportunity to connect with both new and familiar businesses from the Merseyside region. The informal and relaxed setting allowed for meaningful conversations and collaborations that might not have happened in a traditional business environment. It was inspiring to share insights, exchange ideas, and build relationships with like-minded professionals who are equally passionate about growth and success.
Stepping away from our usual workspaces and immersing ourselves in a completely different environment allowed us to gain fresh perspectives on our business direction. Surrounded by supportive business owners, we had the chance to reflect on our goals, challenges, and future strategies in a way that day-to-day operations often don’t allow. Being in such a dynamic and motivating atmosphere encouraged innovative thinking and new approaches that we’re excited to bring back to our work.
Beyond the business discussions, the trip was also an incredible adventure. From exhilarating days on the slopes to shared après-ski experiences, it was a chance to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a thriving business community. Our MD, David Mann, even manged to complete (without falling over!) the Harakiri slope, which has an incline of up to 78% and is the steepest, groomed slope in Austria.
The memories made in Mayrhofen will not only last a lifetime but will also serve as a reminder of the power of collaboration and the importance of taking time to reflect and reset #forwhenitmatters.
